The Angles was a Georgian house in the angle formed by the meeting of Sheen Lane and Christ Church Road. It was demolished in the early 1920s and Wayside was built on the site. There are many surviving bits of old estate walls. The wall between the Angles and the East Sheen Lodge estate can be seen running from Christ Church Road at the back of the Wayside houses.
