The Wigan Hall was an important social centre for the people of Mortlake for several decades. The original paper, which described the Hall’s history, has been out of print for many years. The Society has decided to reissue it (with the addition of illustrations) so that the extensive research undertaken by Fred Mattingley is available to everyone once more.
